Sensory/Therapy Balls

Can come in many forms but the ones shown in the photo above are small, soft, furry and colourful sensory balls. This assists in children to have greater familiarity with sense of touch, and to get used to feeling different textures. The different colours again can make this a multi-educational tool in which children can also learn about colour awareness, matching, and categorization. They are otherwise also referred to as therapy balls as it has been shown to bring about a sense of calmness to children when playing with them.
